American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant to join our highly skilled remote team, delivering outstanding service to our corporate clients. You will advise and arrange travel, conduct research on options, and ensure compliance with policies and security while supporting colleagues globally.

As part of the 24/7 Traveler Care team, you may work afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Travel Counselor with strong industry knowledge.
• Expert-level proficiency in Amadeus GDS.
• Experience arranging domestic and international travel bookings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail in booking and documentation.
• Strong commitment to data security and traveler confidentiality.
• Proactive problem-solver who resolves issues independently and with suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Analyze options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel across air, rail, and accommodations.
• Use Amadeus GDS.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Use positive service techniques and handle special requests.
• Collaborate to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record as a Travel Counselor with strong industry knowledge

• Expert-level proficiency in GDS systems (AMADEUS)

• Demonstrated expertise in both domestic and international travel bookings

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Meticulous attention to detail in all booking and documentation processes

• Strong commitment to data security and confidentiality in handling traveler information

• Proactive problem-solver who resolves customer issues efficiently, both independently and collaboratively with suppliers

• Team player with a genuine openness to feedback and continuous improvement

What You’ll Do

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)

• Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services

• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations

• Use Global Distribution System (GDSs) Amadeus.

• Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements

• Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests

• Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

The US national base salary range for this position is from

$39,200.00 - $72,800.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
