• Operate Amada laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and etch metals according to blueprints and job specs.
• Set up, calibrate, and load materials; optimize speed, power and focus for each job.
• Input job specifications and program laser paths using Amada software (LCG or similar).
• Manage material inventory, verify types, and load correct material; dispose of scrap safely.
• Follow safety procedures; report hazards to supervisor immediately.
• Collaborate with operators, fabricators, and production to meet daily goals.
• Maintain records of machine settings, part counts, material usage; complete daily reports.
