You will operate a 2023 Amada 3kw fiber laser, load materials, troubleshoot minor issues, support programming to optimize nests, and inspect finished parts to meet strict quality standards in a clean, air

Qualifications

• 3+ years of laser cutting experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating Amada lasers or other top-brand laser cutting equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 2023 Amada 3kw 5x10 flat sheet fiber laser.
• Perform laser cutting operations according to production schedules.
• Work with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials up to .375".
• Load materials manually using overhead crane and vacuum frame systems.
• Collaborate with programming team to optimize nests and production efficiency.
• Perform daily calibrations and routine machine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist with keeping equipment operational.
• Inspect finished materials for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
