BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY on-site warehouse in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to prepare items for shipment and manage stock accuracy. Responsibilities include picking, packing, labeling, and documentation, with emphasis on safe, efficient operations.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years in a warehouse setting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to lift 15–40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift 15-40 lbs.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing setting preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office for inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed.
• Locating and retrieving items from storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or carts.
• Checking product quality and quantity to ensure accuracy with order specs.
• Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment including completing shipping documentation.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Keeping a clean and organized work area and operating warehouse equipment safely.
• Communicating with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely order fulfillment.
