Job summary

Keystone Bluffs in Duluth, MN is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant (TMA) to provide compassionate resident care. You will assist with medications under policy, record vital signs, observe changes, and document accurately in charts and care plans.

Applicants must have Minnesota CNA registry certification or eligible, complete a Minnesota-approved training, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Prior TMA experience is preferred; weekend rotation is required.

• Previous TMA experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to policy
• Record and restock medication inventories; process discontinued meds
• Measure and record vital signs (pulse, temp, BP)
• Observe resident behavior; report changes to supervisor
• Complete required forms and care documentation
• Report medication administration errors
• Review and follow the written care plan
• Assist with resident care and other duties as needed

We are dedicated to providing quality care to our residents through compassionate care and assuring that our residents and their needs remain at the forefront of our focus!ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policyRecord and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DONMeasure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessaryReport errors in the administration of medicationsReview and follow a written care plan.Assist with caring for residents when neededPerform other duties as requestedQualificationsCompletion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution.Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration.
