Job summary

Keystone Bluffs is a Duluth, MN-based senior living community seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care under supervision. You will administer medications, monitor residents’ conditions, and support daily care activities in a team environment.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, following care plans, and reporting changes to the supervisor. Minnesota CNA requirements apply; lifting up to 50 lbs, and shift coverage on weekends are typical parts of

Qualifications

• Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution.
• Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older; exception for CNA license if applicable.

• Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary.
• Report errors in the administration of medications.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Assist with caring for residents when needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration. Exception: Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a TMA is preferred but not required.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

7:00am-11:00apm, rotating weekends
