• Follow all recipes, procedures, and quality guidelines to ensure excellence in every meal.
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Support daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including equipment, floors, and storage areas.
• Rotate stock and maintain proper labeling and dating of all food items.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Maintain a sense of urgency and efficiency during high-volume periods.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and leaders.
• Support Front of House operations by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Demonstrate integrity, humility, and teamwork in every interaction.

Position Summary

The AM Back of House (BOH) Team Member is responsible for preparing and assembling high-quality food with precision, speed, and care. This role is crucial to ensuring that every guest receives fresh, delicious meals that meet Chick-fil-A’s high standards. BOH Team Members work behind the scenes to maintain food safety, cleanliness, and excellence in every meal served.

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, value teamwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our AM Team typically operates between the hours of 5:30am-5:00pm (Shifts can range between this timeframe).

Food Preparation & Quality

• Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to Chick-fil-A Pathway standards.
• Ensure all food is served fresh, hot, and prepared with accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain proper portioning, temperature control, and food safety standards.
• Follow all recipes, procedures, and quality guidelines to ensure excellence in every meal.

Operational Excellence

Additional Expectations

• Demonstrates flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support operations and team success.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Maintains consistent and reliable attendance with dependable transportation.
• Upholds Chick-fil-A Hays’ standards of excellence, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.
