Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Kentucky is seeking a Task Team Outfitter to support store operations and deliver legendary customer service. You will focus on non-selling tasks during non-peak times, enabling dedicated time for replenishment, price changes, and merchandising to keep the floor ready for shoppers.

This role includes assisting with inventory counts, floor moves, and omni fulfillment during peak periods, while maintaining planograms and updating signage.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to operate hand-held devices and POS tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general replenishment across departments including fishing, hunting, camping, apparel and gifts.
• Assist with inventory counts, price changes, tagging and signage updates.
• Support planogram execution, floor moves, merchandising and omni fulfillment during peak periods.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Task Team Outfitter assists in the overall operational functions and health of the retail store campus. The role of the Task Team Outfitter is to reduce the amount of non-selling tasks conducted by the Sales Outfitters to provide legendary customer service and selling opportunities. The Task Team Outfitters will focus on non-selling tasks primarily during non-peak business times including prior to store opening to enable dedicated time for completion of tasks in a more efficient manner. Task Team Outfitters will also have the opportunity to provide direct customer service as well to customers during open hours for the store.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Conducts general replenishment for all areas including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing and Gifts. Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, display integrities, etc. Performs temporary and permanent price change execution including tagging, signage and inventory adjustment review. Performs recovery tasks across departments including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging. Supports visual merchandising for assigned areas including fixture replacement, updating signage, updating end caps, visual merchandising directives, floor moves and mannequin dressing, prep and setup of merchandise for ads and perform resets for assigned departments when required. Supports planogram execution and maintenance through all hardlines departments. Supports OMNI fulfillment during peak business. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Years of experience: Two years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Ability to use System Two and RF/Gizmo devices. Ability to review and set planograms and visual merchandising directives. Ability to identify and replenish out of stock or low stock inventory. Ability to communicate with retail sales floor outfitters and leadership on price changes and replenishment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regular computer work, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50lbs. Occasional sitting.

Uses judgement in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices.
