The Atterbury Hotel, managed by Sage Hospitality, is seeking a Dishwasher/Dishroom Associate in Pittsburgh to join a two-kitchen operation serving catering, The Drafting Room Restaurant and Bar, In-Room Dining and Concierge Lounge. You will support the restaurant and kitchen with clean ware and help maintain a sanitary work environment.

Shift from 4 AM to 12 PM, lifting up to 75 lbs, and following health compliance standards.

Formación

• Must have basic knowledge of dishwashing.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers all dirty dishware from tubs brought to the dish room, rinses and stacks in dishracks, clearing dishes of leftovers.
• Loads full dishracks on belt and ensures correct placement for automated washing.
• Operates automatic dishwashing machine by using controls as instructed.
• Loads dishwashing solutions and regulates detergents to the machine.
• Unloads clean dishes, inspects for cleanliness and stacks for easy use by staff.
• Polishes silver, stainless steel and pewter used in food service for presentation.
• Maintains and cleans dishwashing equipment; ensures compliance with health standards.
• Keeps the dish room clean; sweeps, mops, and disposes of trash to maintain sanitation.
