Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a Full-Time AM Shift LVN in Placerville, CA. The role offers a morning schedule (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and weekend/holiday availability is preferred.

You will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, monitor residents, document care, and assist with admissions and discharges. California LVN license and BLS are required; experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license in good standing.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete required charting and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, residents’ families and staff.
