Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a friendly and welcoming AM Server | In Room Dining (Room Service) to join our team. The resort features 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 food and beverage outlets, a luxurious spa, and a vibrant entertainment district. Guests can enjoy food and beverage services in their rooms or ranch homes.

The server will deliver food orders to guest rooms and provide exceptional service, creating memorable experiences for all guests.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as scheduled.
2. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire and name tag.
3. Provide outstanding service to guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
4. Be familiar with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service.
5. Complete station set-up, breakdown, and side-work.
6. Maintain tabletop items and fold napkins according to standards.
7. Polish and clean water glassware during each shift.
8. Ensure salt, pepper, and sugar caddies are full at all times.
9. Take and upsell food and beverage orders.
10. Bus tables as needed and dust all tables.
11. Greet guests warmly, using surnames when obtained.
12. Send orders using MICROS system.
13. Communicate dietary needs and special requests to culinary team.
14. Report any guest suggestions, complaints, or issues to management.
15. Present accurate checks and process payments.
16. Keep the work area clean.
17. Assist in training new associates.
18. Cross-train in other outlets as needed.
19. Maintain knowledge of the resort property.
20. Attend department meetings and training sessions.
21. Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications

1. Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications or obtain upon hire.
2. Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
4. Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.
5. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. MICROS experience preferred.
