Job summary

Sunday River Resort is seeking team members for its food and beverage breakfast service. You will set up, stock, tear down, and maintain a clean FOH area while delivering friendly, professional service to guests.

Positions are full-time and part-time with shifts starting around 6:30 AM, including weekends and holidays. TIPs training and hospitality experience are valued, and benefits include ski pass access and resort discounts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete daily setup, stocking, tear-down, and sanitization of FOH and service areas.
• Keep floors, chairs and tables clean in each section.
• Pre-bussing and re-setting tables; open/close duties and cash-outs as assigned.
• Answer guest questions about menu, upsell, and up-sell opportunities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Complete daily set-up, stocking, tear-down, and overall sanitization of the service areas and FOH in the restaurant
• Keep floors, chairs and tables clean in each section
• Pre-bussing tables, re-set tables
• Complete opening and closing shift duties, cash outs, and side work as assigned by MOD, FOH supervisor, or Lead Server
• Immediately communicate with the Manager regarding any guest concerns or complaints
• Must be able to quickly and correctly answer guest questions regarding the menu, upselling, ingredients, and offer suggestions
• Communicate to MOD maintenance and repairs as needed for FOH for the dining room to be presentable and in working order for all guests
• Follow state, local, federal, and Sunday River guidelines and laws on proper liquor service
• Must be able to inform guests of the menu choices at other mountain restaurants, promote area activities and be able to answer general knowledge questions involving the resort
• Responsible for operating the FOH within the guidelines outlined in the Boyne Brand Standard Audit
• At times of high volume within the resort, assistance may be required outside of the assigned outlet

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Ideal candidate will have T.I.P.S. training and relevant experience
• Breakfast shifts are early in the morning, starting at or before 6:30 AM, and include weekends and holidays with more time being needed during periods of extremely heavy business.
