Gypsum Elementary School is seeking a full-time custodian to perform housekeeping tasks that maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff. You will clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, report maintenance needs, and ensure secure building operations at the end of shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an attractive appearance for all buildings and grounds (e.g. grounds, walks, windows).
• Establish and maintain effective communication with students, staff, and the public.
• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas according to schedule.
• Submit cleaning supply and lamp orders; maintain logbooks for facilities.
• Repair minor maintenance items and report larger needs to supervisor.
• Secure building at end of work shift and perform tasks safely.
