Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Part-time Ramp Agent to join our aviation support team. You will help load and unload cargo, operate ground equipment safely, and assist in keeping aircraft and passengers moving on time.

Shift is Tuesday to Saturday 4:30 AM - 8:00 AM (until work is done), with some weekends required and a guaranteed 3-hour shift. Prior experience is not required, but you must read and understand English and pass the necessary security checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Successful completion of SIDA airport badge or background check required for this location.
• Driver's license is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely; build up and break down cargo pallets and freight containers according to guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain certifications as required.
• Verify shipment pieces, weights, dimensions and airworthiness with customers.
• Ensure accuracy of airway bills and shipment pieces upon receipt and delivery.
