Job Description:

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is seeking an AM Public Area Attendant FT to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel while providing amazing service to guests.

Job Responsibility:

What You'll Do: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, provide amazing service to guests, and develop relationships with them.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Keep the lobby, hallways, public areas, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley clean.
• Clean and set-up meeting room functions according to the function sheets.
• Deep clean areas, including shampooing of rooms and public spaces as assigned.
• Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions, including morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
• Deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
• Get assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from your supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
• Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
• Quickly respond to guest requests in a friendly manner.
• Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
• We all wear multiple hats here at Kimpton, so you may need to take on responsibilities outside of this job post at times.

Qualifications:

What You Bring

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or similar position.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Passion for customer service, good verbal communication skills, and basic writing skills.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
