Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a bartender to deliver efficient, friendly service in our Neighborhood Services Restaurant. The role requires knowledge of beverages, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining bar cleanliness, handling orders, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws. Candidates must have 1 year of bartending experience and relevant certifications, with AM/PM

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience, high volume & casual environment preferred.
• Must be available for AM and PM shifts
• Commitment to quality service and beverage knowledge
• Strong communication skills required
• Wine, beer and spirits knowledge required
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certification or obtain upon hire
• Maintain professional appearance, attitude and performance
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work outdoors

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and anticipate needs, respond to inquiries.
• Have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization.
• Provide silverware and condiments before food is presented.
• Clean and reset bar area as guests depart or drink is prepared.
• Set up and break down bar properly.
• Follow proper sink procedures.
• Communicate professionally with management and staff.
• Contribute to a positive workplace, boosting morale and productivity.
• Work well with front and back of house teams.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol per all laws, including carding.
• Record orders accurately in Micros and manage guest tabs.
