Job summary

Cura of Willmar is seeking a dependable and compassionate RN or LPN to join our nursing team on the day shift. The RN/LPN provides direct nursing care to residents, administers medications, and supports the interdisciplinary care team in meeting individualized care plans and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing and possess CPR certification or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Current and active Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain as required.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers and team members as needed.
• Complete nursing assessments and required documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicate with residents, families, providers, and the care team.
• Provide direction, supervision, and support to CNAs and TMAs during the shift.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned.
• Ensure physician orders and nursing interventions are carried out appropriately.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident rights requirements.
• Participate in shift report and relay relevant resident information to oncoming team.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Position Summary
