Job description

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs. Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
2. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
3. Clerical experience including typing and/or general office administration duties preferred.
4. Good human relations and communication skills.
5. Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
6. Experience dealing with the movement of heavyweight freight using forklifts, tugs, and other loading/unloading equipment preferred.
7. The ability to communicate both timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment is required.
8. Since operating motorized conveyances is required in this job, employee must possess a valid driver's license (See Policy 4-48).
9. Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Qualifications:

1. Part-time position at $15.75 per hour.
2. Must be 18+ years old.
3. Shift info: Monday - Saturday 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM with a day off during the week to be determined.
4. Ability to pass drug screen.
5. Must have a valid driver's license.
6. Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
7. Must pass all required training.
8. Registration for Selective Service required for all males (this is not a requirement for females).
