Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules.
  • Handle various kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, fryers, ovens) safely and efficiently.
  • Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner Prep:
    • Prepare ingredients and components for brunch, lunch, and dinner services.
    • Follow prep lists created by chefs to plan daily work.
    • Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
  • Cleaning and Organization:
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including all kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
    • Follow proper sanitation procedures and safety standards.
    • Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as scheduled.
  • Inventory and Order Assistance:
    • Help receive, unpack, and store supplies and food items.
    • Verify the accuracy and quality of deliveries.
    • Rotate stock appropriately to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
    • Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
