Job summary

CityGate Grille Café in Naperville, IL is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen. You will wash, stock and breakdown, keeping dishware, pots and pans ready for service while assisting with buffet cleanup.

The position is hourly non-exempt with a schedule requiring AM availability, Monday–Friday. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma, and some kitchen experience; Illinois food handlers certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of dishwasher experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Illinois food handlers certificate strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Properly wash, clean and dry dishes according to health department guidelines.
• Sets up station and ensures that the work area is operated in an efficient manner.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Supports all training of other staff members as needed.
• Informs supervisor of any kitchen equipment or machinery that is not working properly.
• Assists in the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
• Follows all CGG departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs all related duties as assigned.
