The Opportunity

We are seeking a AM/Day Front of House (FOH) Director to join the leadership team at Chick-fil-A Medina. This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing people, creating remarkable guest experiences, and driving operational excellence.

As the FOH Director, you will lead our daytime Front of House operations, developing leaders and Team Members while ensuring exceptional hospitality, quick service, order accuracy, and consistent operational execution.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving systems, solving problems, and creating an environment where people can thrive. You will take ownership of daily operations while identifying opportunities to improve throughput, strengthen team performance, and steward restaurant resources responsibly.

Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you will help establish clear expectations, build a culture of accountability, and develop the people and systems that support long‑term restaurant success.

This position is specifically designed for a leader with AM/day availability, with working hours between 5:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Saturday availability is required.

Your Impact

Lead and Develop People

• Coach, mentor, and develop FOH Team Members and leaders through consistent feedback, encouragement, and accountability.
• Build a positive team culture rooted in ownership, trust, and high standards.
• Set clear expectations and ensure team members are equipped with the training and resources needed to succeed.
• Recognize team member contributions and create opportunities for continued growth.
• Lead FOH leadership meetings and communicate priorities, performance expectations, and opportunities for improvement.

Drive Operational Excellence

• Oversee AM/Day Front of House operations to ensure consistent execution of Chick-fil-A standards.
• Ensure opening procedures, operational checklists, and daily audits are completed accurately and consistently.
• Establish clear operational positions, staffing plans, and shift expectations to support efficient execution.
• Build and maintain operational schedules in advance to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Monitor operational performance and address gaps through coaching, training, and improved processes.

Deliver Remarkable Guest Experiences

• Lead the FOH team in delivering genuine hospitality, quick service, and accurate orders.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify recurring concerns or opportunities to improve the guest experience.
• Ensure guest concerns receive timely attention, follow‑up, and resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members.
• Ensure promotional materials and guest‑facing areas are properly maintained and presented.

Maintain Financial and Operational Accountability

• Ensure cash management procedures are followed and daily financial workflows are completed accurately.
• Monitor and address cash overages and shortages while maintaining accurate records.
• Oversee FOH equipment needs and ensure equipment is maintained and ready for use.
• Partner with the leadership team to manage labor effectively and steward restaurant resources responsibly.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including service speed, order accuracy, guest satisfaction, operational checklist completion, and cash accountability.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and strengthen overall restaurant performance.

• Experience with scheduling, cash management, guest feedback, or restaurant operations preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification, or the ability to obtain it as required for the role.
• Passion for Chick‑fil‑A's values and a servant leadership philosophy.
• Availability to work AM/day shifts between 5:30 AM and 4:00 PM, including Saturdays.

Work Schedule

• AM/day availability only: Shifts scheduled within the 5:30 AM–4:00 PM operating window.
• Saturday availability required.
• Approximately 80% of working time spent leading and working alongside the team in restaurant operations, with the remaining time dedicated to administrative responsibilities.
• Sunday availability is not required.
