Position Overview

The Care Giver provides hands-on care, physical and emotional support, and maintains a safe, home-like environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s rooms and work areas
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Support residents in maintaining independence, dignity, and safety
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities

Position Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Effective communication skills with residents, management, and co-workers
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
