DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain a professional company image by adhering to grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip-resistant shoes.
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, and serving water.
- Clear and sanitize tables and chairs immediately after guests leave, and transport dishware and glassware to appropriate areas for sorting and washing.
- Assist Server(s) and Bartender(s) with table service (where allowed), breads, beverages, etc.
- Support Food Runners, Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, and Expeditors when needed.
- Communicate with server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas; use correct cleaning chemicals and PPE according to OSHA regulations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked.
- Be compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations including those relating to food safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred.
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
- Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
- Standing for long periods and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
