Job description

Job Title: Restaurant Food Runner/Busser

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Food Runner/Busser to join our team and facilitate collaboration between the kitchen and wait staff. The role involves setting tables, serving food, and clearing used dishes and utensils. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables quickly and accurately.
  2. Act as a communication link between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
  3. Relay food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests, such as food allergies.
  4. Assist wait staff with table setting by arranging appropriate tableware, utensils, and napkins.
  5. Serve food in accordance with safety standards, including maintaining proper temperatures.
  6. Check with customers to take additional orders or refill water as needed.
  7. Remove used dishes and utensils from tables.
  8. Inform restaurant staff of customer feedback or special requests.
  9. Clean and polish silverware and utensils to prepare for the next shift.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Physical stamina to carry trays and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:

Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Location: In Person

Current opening: Morning shift (5:30 am - 2 pm). Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation:

$12 per hour
