City Cellars HTX in Houston, TX is hiring AM Line Cooks for Thursday-Monday mornings in a fast-paced brunch setting. You will execute egg dishes, proteins, and brunch classics with speed and pride, maintaining quality under pressure.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in high-volume brunch/kitchen, strong knife skills, and fluency in egg cookery. English is required, Spanish helpful. Health insurance and a fixed full-time schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a high-volume brunch or breakfast kitchen
• Fluency in egg cookery is a must
• Strong knife skills and variety of cooking techniques
• Able to work fast, clean, and with urgency
• English-speaking (bilingual Spanish/English is a plus)
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand long shifts

Responsibilities

• Cook brunch dishes to order with consistency and presentation
• Master egg cookery (fried, poached, scrambled, omelets, etc.)
• Work multiple stations (grill, fry, sauté, eggs, cold station) as needed
• Call back tickets and communicate clearly during service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station
• Follow recipes and plating standards without shortcuts
• Assist dish area and morning prep: proteins, sauces, vegetables, batch recipes
• Contribute to kitchen cleanliness and organization after shift
