Job summary

The Penn Memory Center at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to lead or support longitudinal studies on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in a federally funded/industry-sponsored setting.

CRC A assists with study visits, IRB submissions, imaging coordination, and data entry; CRC B leads studies, handles IRB submissions, trains staff, and manages large data sets. Position located in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience in clinical research strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with IRB guidelines and human subject research practices is a plus.
• Ability to delegate work among team members and lead training activities.

Responsibilities

• Screening, recruiting, consenting and enrolling eligible subjects following GCP guidelines.
• Scheduling and conducting visits, including MRI/PET scans as needed.
• Administering standardized neuropsychological assessments and interviews.
• Processing and shipping biological samples and managing research data.
• Assist or lead in IRB document preparation and submission.
