Qualifications

BA/BS required; life sciences degree or equivalent desirable; MBA preferred.
8–10 years of progressive industry experience, including marketing experience.
Proven track record of commercial expertise across products in various stages of development, from pipeline to launch to in-market, preferred.
US and Global experience preferred.
Functional experience within Neuroscience, and specifically Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia, strongly preferred.
Understanding of the commercial aspects of drug development, including global/country market dynamics, operational feasibility, market access, patient advocacy, and regulatory and reimbursement challenges across domestic and international markets.
Collaborates across the organization to incorporate the needs of internal and external stakeholders in the commercial planning process.
Ability to critically assess opportunities with disciplined thinking to determine what is best for patients and the business, and to influence and build alignment with stakeholders.
Strong financial acumen, with the ability to assimilate complex information to create and manage budgets and meet financial targets.
Demonstrated experience leading strategically, communicating with impact, and contributing to a strong, inclusive, energizing culture consistent with BMS values.

Responsibilities

Supports Executive Director in developing Alzheimer's Disease strategy and market development plans.
Leads development of market opportunity assessments and asset-level commercialization deliverables, including TOPs and patient journeys.
Drives Strategic Planning across R&D, Commercialization, and enabling functions for the Alzheimer's franchise.
Identifies challenges and solutions related to adopting novel treatments in Alzheimer's Disease.
Supports market development activities, including biomarker adoption as endpoints.
Liaises with external Alzheimer's influencers on guidelines and policy-shaping efforts.
Clarifies investments to increase diagnosis and shape product selection through biomarker adoption.
