Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret research protocols and procedures.
• Participate in publication of significant results.
• Maintain awareness of current research findings.
• Ensure research follows good research practice.
• Collect, prepare, analyze specimens or tissue cultures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine assays, tests, and studies.
• Compute results and perform statistical analysis.
• Adhere to institutional policies and protect assets.
• Collaborate with PIs on molecular genetics experiments.
• Implement nucleic acid extraction, cloning, PCR, sequencing.
