Job summary

Eisai US is seeking an Area Business Leader to build and lead a Neurology Account Specialist team, develop regional business plans, and drive demand generation aligned with FDA indications. This role requires deep Alzheimer's disease knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement in the Houston area.

The ABL will manage NAS performance, coordinate with franchises and institutions, and ensure compliant operations while achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (BA, BS or equivalent) required.
• 7+ years of pharma, biotech or medical device sales; with 5 years successfully hiring, developing and leading teams
• Experience with buy-and-bill, diagnostics, infusion, neurology preferred
• Commercial function experience (sales training, marketing, analytics) preferred
• Built and executed comprehensive business plans
• Experience navigating healthcare ecosystems and complex accounts

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, and develop a diverse NAS team and integrate them into Eisai’s culture.
• Develop sales capabilities to hit/exceed objectives through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Lead and execute a successful product launch in Eisai’s standards.
• Schedule routine meetings with internal franchise partners to align launch expectations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with Eisai values and mission.
• Participate in industry conferences and sales/training meetings.
• Lead daily NAS activities in compliance with Eisai policies.
• Resolve operational conflicts and adapt strategies for territory issues.
• Adhere to industry and company regulations and ensure policy compliance.
• Work with Regional leadership to support Eisai’s selling model and NAS skill development.
• Cultivate a culture of high performance with accountability.
• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across the area
• Communicate with Eisai senior leaders on progress post-launch
