Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three to five years of experience in annual giving or direct marketing in a nonprofit setting.
• Experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Solicitation: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving program to secure unrestricted and restricted current‑use gifts.
• Draft direct‑mail solicitations from the President, Vice President and Trustees and coordinate with volunteers and outside vendors.
• Recruit and supervise student callers for the phonathon program.
• Draft and send electronic solicitations as part of the annual giving plan.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Philanthropy on datasets, branding and key messages.
• Identify strategies to increase membership in leadership societies.
• Manage alumni and donor data in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Pull datasets and reports on program performance.
• Coordinate solicitations with Trustees and major prospects.
