Job description

Who We Are

At ERC Pathlight, we’re on a mission to change lives—and we’re looking for people who feel called to do the same.

As one of the nation’s leading treatment providers for eating disorders and mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions, we bring innovative, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate care to patients across the country. With multiple locations nationwide and extensive virtual programming, we meet patients exactly where they are and help them move toward lasting recovery.

Founded in 2008 by renowned psychiatrists and psychologists, ERC Pathlight now supports more than 6,000 patients each year. And as the need for world‑class mental health care continues to rise, our commitment is stronger than ever: to expand access, elevate the standard of care, and empower every patient to rebuild their life with dignity and hope.

Why Join Us

When you join ERC Pathlight, you become part of a team that shows up every day to make a real difference. You’ll work alongside passionate clinicians, dedicated support staff, and mission‑driven leaders who believe in collaboration, growth, and doing the right thing—always.

Here, your work matters. Your ideas matter. You matter.

If you’re energized by purpose, motivated by impact, and ready to help transform the future of mental health treatment, you belong here.

Come build hope. Come save lives. Come grow with us.

Onsite Work Requirement: This is a fully onsite position primarily based at our Huron facility. Ability to also work 1 day at our Northbrook location is required. Daily, in‑person attendance is required to support patients, families, alumni programming, discharge planning, tours, family events, and collaboration with clinical and operational teams. Due to the hands‑on nature of the role and direct interaction with patients and families, this position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Huron will serve as the primary work location, and candidates should expect to work onsite there on a regular basis. While occasional collaboration or support at our Northbrook location may be beneficial based on business needs, it is not a required component of the role. Candidates must be able to actively participate in all facility‑based activities and events at the Huron location.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Alumni and Family Coordinator supports alumni and family engagement efforts across their assigned region, while being based onsite at an integrated care facility. This role partners with patients and families throughout the continuum of care—from admission through discharge and into sustained recovery.

Working closely with clinical, outreach, and operations teams, the Coordinator helps facilitate aftercare planning, supports family engagement efforts, and strengthens connections with alumni and community resources. As an onsite presence, the Coordinator ensures these services are integrated into the patient experience while extending support across the broader region.

  • Leads onsite aftercare and discharge planning groups to educate patients about the importance of aftercare; connects them to community resources and outlines alumni services and offerings.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert in the full patient journey; able to speak to or support needs across admission to discharge at all levels of care for both patients and caregivers.
  • Coordinates and supports on‑site family programming and events.
  • Facilitates weekly virtual alumni and family support groups & provides appropriate follow up for referrals to Higher Level of Care (HLOC) as needed. Facilitates annual in person alumni event. Supports aftercare needs for former patients & families through follow‑up phone calls/emails.
