Job summary

Savard Group is seeking experienced Aluminum Welders for an established shipyard in Golden Meadow, LA. You will weld aluminum using MIG pulse (GMAW-P) with attention to reading blueprints and welding symbols.

Qualified candidates must pass a hands-on 3G/4G welding test, lift up to 75 lbs, wear steel-toe boots, a welding hood, and a hard hat. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, with possible weekend work through June 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in aluminum welding.
• Proficiency in aluminum pulse MIG (GMAW-P).
• Experience with horizontal and vertical aluminum welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience with aluminum vessel fabrication preferred.
• Must pass a hands-on 3G/4G welding test.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots, welding hood, and hard hat required.
