Job Summary:
Viewrail is seeking a strong candidate to join our Flight Production Team. The Welder/Metal Fabricator will weld within our stringer line. While this individual will work with different metals, they will work primarily with Aluminum.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities: (These requirements are in addition to any and all Viewrail employment requirements and policies.)

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication experience in grinding and finishing raw material. (Mild Steel, Stainless, with a primary focus on Aluminum.)
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Read a tape measure
• Handle and store welding materials and tools in compliance with company procedures.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces for defects, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by grinding, sanding, or cleaning.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring safe and proper operation.
• Perform minor maintenance and repair of welding tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear such as gloves, helmets, and eye protection.
• Adhere to company quality and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.
• All other job duties and responsibilities as assigned
