Prince Service & Manufacturing is seeking an Aluminum Welder I to join our team in Macon, GA. You will read welding drawings, prepare materials with a cutting torch, and perform plasma arc cutting to produce quality welds according to specifications.

The ideal candidate has aluminum welding experience, can set up for stick welding, and grind welds to meet high quality standards while maintaining safety and productive output.

Qualifications

• Aluminum welding experience required.
• Ability to read welding detailed drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with a cutting torch and plasma arc cutting.
• Knowledge of grinding techniques for smooth weld finishes.
• Ability to set up equipment for stick welding and perform stick welding.
• Ability to reference drawings stored on servers for welding requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to production targets and safety.

Responsibilities

• Read welding detailed drawings to understand welding requirements.
• Use a cutting torch to prepare materials for welding.
• Perform plasma arc cutting as needed for specific welding tasks.
• Grind welds to achieve smooth finishes and meet quality standards.
• Produce quality welds that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Set up equipment for stick welding and perform stick welding as required.
• Find drawings on the server to reference welding requirements.
• Perform simple fit-up of materials for welding projects.
• Achieve job utilization at 85% daily to meet production targets.
