Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience, preferably with aluminum.
• Experience welding aluminum, steel, and/or stainless steel.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties.
• Experience using common fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel according to project specifications.
• Perform TIG welding as needed; TIG experience is a plus.
• Assemble fabricated components and structures using blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and assembly instructions.
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper tolerances.
• Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools, including grinders, drills, plasma cutters, saws, and other cutting equipment.
• Measure materials and finished components using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Prepare materials for fabrication, including cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing.
• Work with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Assist with other fabrication and assembly duties as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Welder / Fabrication Technician to join a fast-paced production environment. This position is ideal for someone with strong MIG welding skills, mechanical ability, and experience reading blueprints and assembling fabricated components.

Position Overview
