Tradesmen International is actively hiring experienced aluminum welders for projects around Mount Vernon, WA. This first-shift role offers pay up to $40/hour based on experience.

You will weld and fabricate aluminum components for boat manufacturing, performing MIG and TIG welding, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality while maintaining a safe work area. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years aluminum welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency with TIG welding aluminum.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate blueprints and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Experience with aluminum boat manufacturing or marine fabrication preferred.

Job description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Aluminum Welders for projects located in or around Mount Vernon, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope

• Weld and fabricate aluminum components used in boat manufacturing
• Perform MIG (GMAW) and TIG welding on aluminum materials
• Build, fit, and assemble aluminum structures and components according to specifications
• Perform fillet welds in all positions with minimal rework
• Complete external seam welds in all positions
• Perform weld repairs and corrective welding procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication documents
• Perform oscillated and stringer fillet welds and butt welds as directed
• Minimize material shrinkage and distortion during the weld-out process
• Assist with quality control and ensure finished products meet company standards
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of aluminum welding and fabrication experience
• Proficiency with TIG welding aluminum
• Ability to perform high-quality fillet welds in all positions
• Ability to lead and mentor apprentices when needed
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate blueprints and drawings
• Strong understanding of weld repair techniques
• Experience with aluminum boat manufacturing or marine fabrication preferred
• Strong mathematical and measuring skills
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning and developing trade skills
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship
