Job summary

Empire Architectural Products Corp in Freeport, NY seeks a skilled Storefront Fabricator, Glazier, and Installer to fabricate, assemble, and install commercial storefront systems and curtain walls. You will cut, fit, and install glass panels and glazing materials to precise specifications.

Read architectural drawings and shop drawings, apply sealants and weatherproofing, and safely operate power tools and fabrication equipment while coordinating with project managers to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in storefront fabrication, glazing, and commercial glass installation.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with aluminum storefront systems (Kawneer, YKK, Tubelite).
• Knowledge of glazing techniques, sealants, and weatherproofing.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install storefront systems and curtain walls.
• Cut and fit glass panels and glazing materials to specs.
• Read architectural drawings and shop drawings.
• Apply sealants and weatherstripping for weather-tight installations.
• Operate fabrication tools safely and coordinate with teams.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet timelines.
• Perform quality inspections for spec compliance.
