Role Overview

The Market Development Manager – Framing is responsible for raising awareness and generating demand for AZEK's Framing products among installers (decking contractors, remodelers, builders, multi-family developers, etc.) and specifiers (designers and architects). The role involves self-motivated sales activities, including education, training, and building relationships, with travel required for events, site visits, and business development.

Essential Functions
  1. Create and manage a list of target builders, developers, remodelers, and contractors.
  2. Become an expert on AZEK's framing products, including installation, code compliance, and competitive analysis.
  3. Provide in-field training for end users, distributors, and AZEK sales team.
  4. Generate and track sales opportunities with local dealers and sales reps.
  5. Meet with end users to promote awareness and convert them into customers.
  6. Respond promptly to inquiries about products, prices, and applications.
  7. Maintain a schedule of calls and events, coordinating with dealers and the AZEK sales team.
  8. Keep the Regional Sales Manager informed of activities and demand generation.
  9. Complete necessary reports and paperwork.
Qualifications
  • College degree in sales, marketing, business, or engineering.
  • 5+ years of successful building materials sales experience.
  • Energetic, self-starter with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in the building industry or as a contractor.
  • Dependable, professional, with a good driving record.
