Job summary

Alexandria Industries is hiring a Production Operator to support the Fabrication team by operating equipment that modifies aluminum parts to customer specifications. You will set up and run manufacturing equipment, inspect parts for quality, and package finished products for shipment.

Safety and quality are priorities in our manufacturing environment. The role involves working with fabrication equipment, reviewing orders, inspecting with tools, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts to customer specifications.
• Ability to use inspection equipment and identify product defects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and safety hazards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment to produce aluminum parts to specs.
• Review work orders, inspect parts, and verify quality requirements with tools.
• Package finished products according to customer requirements and schedules.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and suggest quality/efficiency improvements.
