Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking a Machine Operator 1 in Newnan, GA to saw, fabricate and assemble architectural aluminum products to customer specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will join a detail-oriented, safety-conscious team in The Custom Entrances Department, with potential for overtime and career growth—supporting a company with nationwide manufacturing and distribution capabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret basic math measurements.
• Ability to stand and walk for long shifts on concrete.
• Lift up to 75 lbs individually and 150 lbs with a partner.
• Willing to work overtime and be flexible within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Sawing, fabricating and assembling architectural aluminum products with various tools and machinery.
• Inspecting aluminum for quality flaws.
• Using drill guns and hand tools.
• Read and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints.
