Job summary

Thor Industries is seeking an Aluminum Extrusion Superintendent to lead extrusion operations and related departments. You will oversee Extrusion, Maintenance, Die Shop, Packing, and Paint Line, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years in aluminum extrusion or related manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of extrusion operations, maintenance coordination, die shop, packing, and paint line.
• Experience with 5S, Lean, root cause analysis, KPI tracking preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Plant Manager and provide leadership across all assigned departments.
• Oversee the daily operations of Extrusion, Maintenance, Die Shop, Packing, and Paint Line.
• Ensure safety is the number one priority in all departments.
• Lead and enforce compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, work instructions, and department expectations.
• Drive plant performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate all departments to ensure smooth production flow from extrusion through finishing, packing, and shipment.
• Work closely with the Plant Manager to establish priorities and address operational concerns.
• Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently and customer requirements are met.
