Job summary

Durex Industries is hiring a Caster/Foundry Worker to support mold prep, metal pours, and equipment maintenance in our foundry. You will ensure safe, high-quality castings by monitoring temperatures, preparing molds, and handling aluminum with precision.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards. Second shift offers a 15% differential and a sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read scales, rulers, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and preheat permanent and sand molds.
• Melt metals and adjust alloys to required properties.
• Pour aluminum into molds with consistency and precision.
• Maintain furnaces, equipment, and molds; ensure safety and quality.
• Keep records of materials used and inspect molds for defects.
