Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Foundry Workers for a 2nd shift position in a manufacturing environment. You will prepare molds, handle aluminum, and maintain casting equipment to ensure high-quality castings.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of foundry/manufacturing experience, read technical gauges, and operate hand tools safely. A sign-on bonus of $1,200 is offered along with the 15% shift differential on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience as a caster/foundry worker or related role.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read scales, rulers, blueprints, and work orders.
• Proficient with hand tools (pliers, wrenches, hammers, chisels) and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and preheat molds for casting.
• Handle aluminum and maintain equipment to produce castings.
• Monitor furnace temperatures and molten metal to specification.
• Pour aluminum into molds with precision and consistency.
• Inspect molds and conduct quality tests during casting.
