Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Dallas seeks a Director of Category Management for Aluminum Billet/Extrusions. You will own the sourcing strategy for critical aluminum materials across multiple business lines and sit at the table with leaders to shape supply, price risk management, and supplier partnerships.

You will lead a procurement team, drive multi-year sourcing programs, and build a modern supply chain capability through our Center of Excellence and PMO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic sourcing or category management.
• 5+ years in aluminum or related commodity.
• Experience with aluminum extrusion & billet from producers, extruders, fabricators, or procurement roles buying from them.
• Experience managing large-scale category spend with index-based pricing or LME-linked pricing.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience with long-term supply agreements.
• Experience leading or developing procurement professionals.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay systems and supplier scorecarding.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple business lines.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy for extrusion & billet sourcing across multiple lines.
• Lead negotiations and sourcing events with producers, extruders and fabricators.
• Monitor market indicators, premiums, tariffs, energy, scrap and freight risks.
• Own supplier relationship management, scorecards and executive reviews.
• Drive supplier development, dual-sourcing, and capacity planning.
• Coach the procurement team and build skills in partnership with HR.
• Align aluminum demand and supply plans with business units.
• Develop governance and tools to scale Source-to-Pay and lead CoE/PMO programs.
• Drive continuous improvement across business lines and support ESG goals.
