Job summary

State Street in Boston seeks an Accounting professional to join our Alternatives team. You will handle daily fund activity processing, capital calls, distributions, reconciliations and quarterly fee calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will work with Excel and possibly Bloomberg, supporting internal controls and client needs in a fast-paced, global environment. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines and ensure service levels.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; experience with Bloomberg is a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily processing and monitoring of fund activities.
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices to investors.
• Run bank and cash reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Prepare quarterly management fee calculations and waterfall allocations.
• Prepare fund trial balances and supporting workpapers.
