Job summary

State Street seeks an officer-level independent contributor for the Alternative Investments Transformation team in New Jersey. You will work with Alternative Investments technology and stakeholders to design solutions for internal operations and clients, delivering projects on time while maintaining organization and initiative.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently on multiple assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • 3+ years of experience in an investment firm in a technology, front office or software related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; Jira and Confluence experience.
  • Preferred experience in Alternative Investments.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and interpret end user requirements and work to meet those needs by working with cross functional teams and follow through to implementation.
  • Resolve and elevate project and operational issues in a timely fashion.
  • Provide business requirements and analysis to internal and external clients on current and future state operating models.
  • Create test and execute documentation to demonstrate newly developed functionality is in line with business use cases.
  • Understand and follow all relevant internal policies and procedures, and contribute to best practices.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in Alternative Investments.
Salary Range

$70,000 - $118,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
