Responsibilities

• Support the settlement and operational management of debt and private equity transactions throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Facilitate deal execution activities, including asset setup, trade ticket preparation, and settlement coordination.
• Confirm and track cash settlements, ensuring adherence to cash wire controls and documentation requirements.
• Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve operational exceptions.
• Assist with vaulting requests, physical security registration, and related asset administration.
• Support loan amendments, restructurings, interest calculations, and loan agency functions.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with internal controls and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with investment, treasury, accounting, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.

We are seeking multiple Alternative Operations Analysts to support the operational lifecycle of debt and private equity investments. This role focuses on the timely settlement, accurate processing, and ongoing management of complex alternative assets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with loan operations, private credit, debt settlements, and alternative investments, along with a strong understanding of investment lifecycle events and related accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the settlement and operational management of debt and private equity transactions throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Facilitate deal execution activities, including asset setup, trade ticket preparation, and settlement coordination.
• Confirm and track cash settlements, ensuring adherence to cash wire controls and documentation requirements.
• Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve operational exceptions.
• Assist with vaulting requests, physical security registration, and related asset administration.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in alternative investment operations, private credit, loan operations, or private equity operations.
• Strong knowledge of loan-based products, including:
• Term loans
• Privately originated debt and equity instruments
• Hands-on experience with loan setup, interest calculations, amendments, restructurings, and settlements.
• Understanding of complex deal structures, loan agency functions, and control/pledge agreements.
• Knowledge of accounting implications associated with investment lifecycle events, including principal and interest (P&I), expenses, and capital contributions/distributions.
• Strong Excel skills, with experience using macros preferred.
• Experience with cash settlements, reconciliations, and transaction controls.
