Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to service CNG, RNG and EV charging equipment at Love’s locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 18+, a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems. Training on company software and MS Office is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge/experience in electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, CNG, RNG, and mechanical strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, data entry and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret and utilize service software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulic, CNG, RNG and EV charging equipment.
• Repair, replace and adjust malfunctioning equipment per manufacturer recommendations and SOPs.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections and document all activities.
• Maintain compliance with all safety rules and regulations around energy infrastructure.
• General maintenance of stations including cleaning and landscape tasks as needed.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, management and other teams.
• Follow company guidelines on professional conduct with customers and coworkers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Functions:

Drive a company vehicle to or between company sites to perform daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on equipment related to hydraulic, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and EV Charging stations at Love’s Travel Stop’s facilities and various third-party customers.

Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to include but not limited to compressors, pumps, engines, intercoolers, piping, valves, fittings, actuators, gasdryersand other functional componentsin accordance withmanufacturersrecommendations and standard operating procedures.

Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections as required documenting allactivityto include work performed during inspections, parts consumed, and anyadditionalpertinent details in applicable online platforms.

Retain knowledge of andcomply with, all applicable federal, state, local and company rules/regulations that arein accordance withthe acceptedprincipalsof the safe operation working around Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Hydrogen, Biodiesel, and EV Charging stations.

General Maintenance of stations to include but not limited to, picking up and emptying trash cans, cleaning fueling equipment,canopy, fueling lots, surrounding landscape maintenance in, around, or outside of fueling enclosures.

Maintains professional communication with dispatch, peers, Management, and other entities as needed/required.

Follow all company guidelinesregardingprofessional conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees, vendors, and the motoring public.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School diploma or GED (accredited)required.

Valid Driver’s License and meet state requirements as required by law.

Knowledge and/or experience in electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and mechanical STRONGLY preferred.

Industry verbal and written communication skills, data entry, attention to detail, self-motivated, ability to multitask with excellent time management skills.

Ability to interpret andutilizeservice software AND have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as but not limited to Microsoft Outlook,Exceland Word.

Ability to execute mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose andaccomplishnecessary repairs.

Background Checks:

Physical Demands:

Availability to respond to on-call service requests, 24/7 and365 daysper year.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat and climb as needed to perform routine inspections and maintenance.

Physically able tooperatea motorized vehicle, walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, climb, type on computer keyboard, and use of required hand tools, to perform routine inspections and maintenance as needed.

Willingness tooperateunder all types of weather conditions.

Required travel as needed.

Required to provideowntools to perform routine maintenance and repairs of equipment.
