Job summary

WorkLlama, Inc. is seeking a qualified security professional to lead site safety operations in Pennsylvania. The role includes acting as Fire Chief/Incident Commander during emergencies, patrolling the site, and coordinating fire prevention, Hazmat, rescue, and medical response.

The ideal candidate has current or recent municipal fire protection experience, NIMS ICS training, and Hazmat/technical familiarity with industrial utilities. Strong recordkeeping and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • PA Driver's license or CDL preferred.
  • Emergency Vehicle Operator Course or equivalent.
  • Fire protection experience within the past 8 years, incl. 5 years as Chief Officer preferred.
  • Current Pa State Firefighter I, Firefighter II preferred.
  • Incident Command Training with NIMS 100, 700 minimum.
  • Current PA State Fire Academy Hazmat Operations – Technician preferred.
  • Confined Space Rescue Training, Pro Board Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial level utility systems (air, steam, high voltage, etc.).
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, EMT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to security events, automatic alarms and requests for assistance throughout the site.
  • Serves as Plant Fire Chief/Incident Commander in emergencies when Command Center Manager is not present.
  • Familiar with the site and installations regarding fire prevention, Hazmat, rescue and medical rescues.
  • Investigating incidents, recordkeeping, communications, reporting, and other document preparation related to the above.
  • Performs all assignments with limited supervision.

Job description

Responsibilities

Schedule
  • 4 – Days 5:30 am- 5:30 pm
  • 7 days OFF
  • 4 – Nights 5:30 pm- 5:30 am
  • 3 Days OFF
  • 3 – Days 5:30 am – 5:30 pm
  • 1 – Day OFF
  • 3 – Nights 5:30 pm – 5:30 am
  • 3 – Days OFF
  • Cycle repeats, position includes weekends & Holidays.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid PA Driver’s license/ CDL Preferred. Driving work vehicle
Experience
  • Pennsylvania Emergency Vehicle Operator Course or Equivalent
  • Fire protection experience, within the past 8 years, including 5 years of active volunteer or paid experience in municipal fire protection preferably as a Chief Officer.
  • Current certification in Pa State Firefighter I, Firefighter II preferred
  • Incident Command Training with National Incident Management System (NIMS) 100,700 minimum
  • Current PA State Fire Academy Hazmat Operations – Technician preferred
  • Confined Space Rescue Training, Pro Board Certification preferred
  • Familiarity with industrial level utility systems (air, steam, high voltage, etc.).
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, EMT Preferred
  • Knowledge of suppression systems
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Desired
