Qualifications

• Fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience, minimum 2–3 years.
• Clear and professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and alterations, mark areas to be altered.
• Perform and complete fittings and sewing alterations on time per Nordstrom guidelines.
• Meet productivity goals while following processes and procedures.
• Use store technology to manage and organize alteration requests.
• Collaborate with Alterations & Store Team to meet customer expectations.
• Educate customers and employees on fit, construction, and trends.
